A warm welcome to the sunny ski paradise in Nauders am Reschenpass! Here, high up between the most beautiful peaks of Austria, Italy and Switzerland you'll discover a winter holiday at the highest level and with guaranteed snow!

Multi Level Winter Holiday

The ski paradise Reschenpass with the fantastic wintersports resort Nauders on the Austrain side and the beautiful ski resorts of Graun, St. Valentin, Reschen und Langtaufers im Vinschgauer Oberland with their southern flair on the Italian side of the Reschenpass, has distiguished itself in recent years as an exceptionally diverse winter holiday destination. Our "multi-level wintersports" holiday programme will inspire you. Enjoy the views of the 3,000 m peak region, which you can reach quickly, comfortably and safely on the most modern cable cars and lifts. We would be pleased to give you more detailed information about the complete activity programme. However, we can tell you now that you will seldom find such a varied and rounded wintersports programme in the European Alps as you will here on the Reschenpass!

Awards of excellence!

As one of the few ski areas in Tyrol, Nauders can not only proudly present an award for excellent piste care, by the way Nauders was 2001/02 ski arena winner in piste care, but it has also received an award from the country of Tyrol for its excellent trails.

The snowboarding facilities in Nauders has also been awarded "3 caps“ by the Tyrol Advertising. There's plenty available for snowboarders in the ski paradise of Reschenpass. They can really go for it and show off their skills in the funpark, on the boarder cross track at the Haideralm as well as on the halfpipe at Bergkastel.

An absolute must for snowboard freaks.

Skiing fun on the border to the South Tyrol

The Nauders ski area on the Bergkastel offers the oppurtunity for a detour into Italy as well as great skiing and some interesting deep snow fields. Further highlight: The first 8-person chairlift in the world (1999) is on the Bergkastel. However, not only skiers and snowboarders (halfpipe ASA BoarderX) will be happy in Nauders, cross country skiers will find plenty of trails on th Reschenpass (90 km of prepared trails).

Bergkastel

The main advantage of the ski area of Bergkastel is its altitude (1440m-2850 m) and the ensuing guaranteed snow. You can reach the middle station at 2,200m in comfort by cable car. Here the not-so experienced skiers will find suitable slopes. Long lift queues are unheard of in the Nauders and Reschenpass area. The pistes around the middle station are primarily lovely, wide forest slopes. By the way, Austria's widest piste is in Nauders at the Zirbenlift, with a breadth of 300m. At the mountain station of the chairlift you have to be careful not to take the Almlift piste by mistake. As this very steep piste is quite something. Ex-world champion Marco Hangl used to train here.

Haideralm

The Haider Alm ski area counts amongs the most beautiful ski areas in the Vinschgau. Fabulous countryside dipped in white makes every sportsman's heart beat faster. The modern 6-person gondola starts from the centre of the resort and the longest downhill brings you back to your hotel. The gondola takes you from 1,470 m up to 2,200 m. Once up there you'll find 5 lifts to transport you up to 2,700 m. No long lift queues and 20 km of varied and well-prepared pistes await, suitable for beginners, experienced or pleasure skiers.

Tscheyeck

If you ski down from the Bergkastel middle station to the Goldsee Lake Hut you'll see where the best pistes in Nauders are to be found - at the Tscheyeck (2,700m). The ascent on the double chairlift takes you up nearly 800 m. Up on the Tscheyeck, take the draglift up to the Gueser Kopf, with its 2,850 m the highest point in the ski area. Up here you'll have to decide. Either take the wonderful red piste back to the Goldsee Hut or the uncleared ski route, which also ends up at the Goldsee Hut.

The Italian ski areas Schöneben am Reschensee and Haider Alm am Haidersee are also worth a visit. The joint "international" ski pass for all three ski areas can be used to the full due to a connecting bus system. Cross country skiers will discover a true paradise on the Reschenpass, which will in the coming year receive an award for perfect trails in Nauders and on the Reschenpass.
